Information You Provide
This may include your first name, phone number, email address, country, and city. If required or permitted by law, we may also collect your selfie image for identity verification, national ID numbers for safety purposes, and emergency contact numbers.
Providing this information is necessary to use Cabby or its features. Please also provide your last name and profile picture if you wish.
This may include your full name, profile picture, driver’s license data, vehicle details (type, make, model, year, color, registration certificate data, license plate, vehicle inspection report, vehicle image), proof of identity, state identification numbers, proof of residency, home address, date of birth, gender, taxation number, insurance details, right to work, driving record, payment or banking information, and other documents required by applicable regulations.
We may also collect background checks and criminal records where permitted or required by law. You must provide this information to register as a Driver.
This includes comments, ratings, and reviews you upload on Cabby.
This may include chat messages, emails, call recordings, and related metadata.
If you participate in promotional programs (e.g., car branding, referral programs), we may ask for information such as your name, email, user ID, phone number, payment or banking information, home address, social media accounts, and vehicle details.
Information We Collect Automatically
Location Information: We collect location data to facilitate rides, support users, ensure safety, detect fraud, and comply with legal requirements. We collect location information based on your app settings and device permissions
Riders: We collect precise location data from your device while the app is active (foreground and background) from the time you request a ride until it ends. You may use the app without sharing precise location data by entering pick-up and drop-off addresses manually.
Drivers: We collect precise location data from your device while the app is active (foreground and background) in Driver mode. To support insurance coverage, we may also collect location data when the app is closed or not in use. This data helps with insurance and investigating ride incidents.
Transaction Information: Includes data related to the services provided via Cabby, such as amounts charged, payment transaction details, date and time of service, and distance traveled.
Usage Information: Data about your use of our Platform, such as access times, features or pages viewed, system activity, and Platform crashes. We may also collect data related to third-party services you used before interacting with Cabby.
Communications Information: Data about the time and content of communications through the Platform used to provide support, resolve disputes, and improve the Platform.
Device Information: Includes details about your device, such as name, brand, model, IP address, mobile carrier, operating system, screen parameters, and technical data from mobile sensors.
User and Trip IDs: Automatically assigned IDs for each account and trip.
